The design solutions of the architectural and urban planning concept for the Fili business and public complex,
which includes elements of a transport interchange hub, are aimed at creating a multifunctional facility. The
complex consists of four freestanding blocks connected by a bridge. Each block consists of a base — a two-story
stylobate — and an attached biomimetic volume (Biomimicry is an innovative approach to architectural design that
draws on natural forms to create sustainable and efficient buildings). The bridge-stylobate is an important
connecting element, both between the bases and the biomimetic form, and between all the volume blocks located
on different sides of the transport hub.
The building's image is based on the transformation of a rectangular form into an organic one. The streamlined
shape symbolizes river pebbles. A multidirectional network of road, rail, and pedestrian routes is being formed
around the development site, resembling a river flow. At the intersection of these flows, the new, modern «Fili»
TPU facility is taking shape, which, like a river nourishing an ecosystem, brings life to this district.
