THE SKYSCRAPER OF THE FUTURE

Moscow, Khodyinskaya Square
Organizer: Specialized media about high-rise construction and urbanism — "Skyscrapers"
What innovative technologies will be widely used in residential construction in the next 100 years? How will
residential buildings and our standard of living change after the synthesis of technology and architecture? What
will skyscrapers look like in the future?

Answering these questions, the concept of the skyscraper of the future was presented. The main idea of forming
the structure of a skyscraper is the use of separate capsule modules that can function both independently (a residential cell) and combine into groups, creating multi-room living spaces.

The skyscraper, in turn, consists of two main zones: public and business, located in the "trunk" of the building, and
the residential capsule modules themselves, located around the perimeter. Capsules can be mobile due to built-in
electric motors with the ability to move in space, which will provide people with new opportunities. Each capsule is equipped with a battery for movement and, being outside the building, is completely autonomous.
This concept suggests revising the usual understanding of a building as a static object.

At the ArchMoscow 2025 exhibition, the project was presented at the stand of Yulia Shishalova, a well—known
journalist and editor-in-chief of «Project Russia» Media. Yulia oversees «the Panorama» special project, dedicated
to new trends in architecture, and our project has become part of this research.
